This Hoya Heuschkeliana was from the very first import I did with a little local coop I am a part of. I remember making a comment in our group chat that I was literally picking out hoyas by what names I liked :) Most of my Hoya from that import haven’t really grown. I mean, they haven’t died, they’ve just plodded along like “come on, woman, figure us out”. In December I made a “Hoya shelf” in our family room. I wanted it to feel part of the space and not intrusive while still giving my Hoya some extra love. The Hoya I have on this shelf have only been there around a month but my goodness they are showing their appreciation daily.
Last night as we settled in to watch a movie, I thanked Ian and Quinn for supporting me with my “silly plant thing” and Quinn said “no, mama, we should be thanking you for bringing all this joy into our lives”.
I cried, of course.
This cutie is enjoying my Mother grow light and humidity of between 30% and 45%.
